STEPS
Initial Application
- You should fill in an application at our offices and pay 50 BGN – non-refundable administrative fee.
- You have to sign a contract with GTCE.
Program documents
Within two weeks after your application you need to submit the required documents.
Sending the documents to the partner agency
When you submit your documents at GTCE:
- We will check and translate them.
- You should pay 250 BGN, program fee.
- The documents will be sent to an agency in Norway that will submit them to different families for approval. As soon as a family likes your documents, one of the parents will make a phone interview with you. During this interview you may ask questions regarding the children, schools, way of life, etc.
Host Family
In case you have liked each other:
- The family will send you an agreement.
Permit
You apply for a permit at the embassy of Norway. Usually the permit and visa are issued within 2 months.
Visa
Once the agreement is received, with the following documents, you need to go to the Embassy of Norway to apply for a visa:
- Visa application
- Passport and a copy
- 2 passport photos
- Agreement with the family
Travel details
Once the visa is issued, we will arrange your travel to Norway and inform the Partner Agency when and where you will arrive. The agency will make arrangements with the family to meet you. |
