3. How long does it take for a job offer to be found? In general it could take up to 3 months. If a job offer is not provided within three months, the company can keep looking in case the applicant is still interested in participating in the program.
>>top 4. What are the requirements for Work and Travel UK applicant? You must be between the ages of 18 and 30.
You will not be allowed to bring a spouse or dependents with you to the UK.
If you wish to go back on the scheme after being on a work permit for twelve months you will have to be outside the UK for two months.

- Fish filleters - prepares, cleans, cuts fish and processing
- Fish Packers - packing, wrapping, labelling, sealing, by hand or machine, fish for distribution and sale
- Fish Process Operatives - operating, minding, cleaning machines that prepare fish for distribution and sale

Mushroom Processor - tends growing crops, picks grades and packs mushrooms for distribution and sale
>>top 6. Can I change my employer? If you are currently in the UK under this sector based work permit scheme you will normally be allowed to change employer.
The maximum period in the UK under this work permit scheme must not exceed twelve months in total, and the new employer must also meet the requirements for this scheme.
You may not work for the new employer until the work permit has been issued and a suitable stamp put into your passport confirming that you have the right to work for the new employer.
If you wish to work longer than twelve months under this sector based work permit scheme you will firstly have to leave the UK for two months.
If you are already in the UK on the sector based work permit scheme it is not necessary in this situation to leave the Country and re-enter to be able to work for the new employer on the sector based work permit.
>>top 7. What happens when a work permit is issued? Once a Work Permit has been granted, it (the original document, not simply a copy) should be sent to you by your employer as you will need it in your possession before you enter the UK. All UK work permit holders need to get a visa (entry clearance) before traveling to the UK.
