Information concerning the program.

Language test:

If you do not have a TOEFL test score, you have to pass a SLEP 6 test.

Application and the necessary documents:

1. Interview at the offices of GTCE.
2. Application form and program fee payment.
3. A particular job offer or providing with info related to job searching.
4. Documents.

Program Documents:

Within the period of three weeks you have to submit all the application documents.

1. The application packet is mailed to the USA for approval.

Contracts:

1. The participant has to pay the rest of the program fee and he/she has to present a document indicating the paid fee (every document should include the participant’s name).
   You have to write “Internship” in the “Payment Reason” field.
2. With the program fee the student has to pay a SEVIS fee - $ 100
3. Signing contracts between the participant and GTCE.
4. Air Plane reservation.

DS – 2019

Receiving of DS – 2019.

Within two weeks (as soon as possible) you have to submit the following documents:

1. * Certificate from the university (if still a student)
2. * Student’s book (if still a student)
3. * Training plan
4. * DS – 2019 (original)
5. * Valid international passport (expiration date – one year after the visa issuing) – original and copy of the page including the photo
6. * Copy of another USA visa (if there is one)
7. * Photo 50mm x 50mm
8. Certificate for passed military service
9. Recommendations by a former J1 employer
10. * Birth certificate – original or a copy
11. Copy of the children’s or husband’s/wife’s birth certificate
12. Copy of a High School Diploma
13. Copy of a University Diploma (if the participant has one)
14. * Original and copy of a document that certifies Intermediate level of English
15. Copy of a marriage certificate
16. Certificates of the parents’ working places
17. Copy of qualification documents related to the job you are applying for
18. Copies that certify the property of a vehicle (personal or family)
19. Recommendations for a membership in a nongovernmental organizations, foundations, etc., proving any social commitment
20. Bank references certifying available amount of money (if there are ones)

Applying for visa

1. Visa fee of $ 100 paid in Union Bank (the participants have to bring the yellow copy and keep the blue one for themselves)
2. Fill in the required documents for the USA Consulate
3. Presenting the documents in the Consulate
4. Interview appointment in the American Consulate
5. Interview in the USA Consulate

Orientation:

1. Orientation in the offices of GTCE
2. Receiving of the ticket as well as the necessary travel documents
3. Fill in a “Travel Information” form.
